Delete your Datfit account

How to request account deletion

1. Email hello@datfit.app.
2. Send the request from the email address connected to your account.
3. Use the subject line: Datfit account deletion request.
4. Include the email address on the account and the sign-in method you used, such as Google Sign-In or Apple Authentication.
5. Do not include passwords, authentication codes, workout screenshots, or other sensitive details in the request.

We will verify the request and reply to the account email. Once verified, the account data is deleted from our active systems within 30 days.

What Datfit deletes

When a verified deletion request is processed, Datfit deletes data tied to the account:

• account record, including name, email address, and authentication identifiers.
• profile information, including onboarding details such as goals, experience, height, weight, and training frequency.
• training data, including workout templates, session logs, exercises, sets, reps, weights, rest periods, and timestamps.
• AI trainer interactions saved as part of workout sessions.
• Server sync records associated with the Datfit account.

What Datfit may keep

Some records may be kept when they are not directly tied to active account use or when retention is required for operational, legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons:

• diagnostic logs, crash reports, and performance traces may be retained for up to 90 days. These records are not intended to include workout content or authentication credentials.
• legal, security, or fraud-prevention records may be retained for as long as needed to comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or protect Datfit and its users.
• Waitlist email records are separate from app account records and can be removed on request by emailing hello@datfit.app.

Retention period

Deleted account data is removed from active Datfit systems within 30 days after request verification. Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before they expire through normal backup rotation.
