Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Datfit mobile app, the website at datfit.app, and any related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Fitness and medical disclaimer

Datfit is a training log and planning tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The recommendations produced by Datfit — including suggested weights, reps, rest, and overall plans — are generated by software and are not a substitute for professional guidance. Consult a licensed physician before starting any training program, especially if you are pregnant, have a pre-existing medical condition, or are recovering from an injury. You are solely responsible for your exercise choices and for stopping if you experience pain, dizziness, or any other warning sign.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You may terminate your account at any time by writing to hello@datfit.app.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, disassemble, or interfere with the Service.
• Do not use the Service to transmit unlawful content or to harass others.
• Do not attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Do not submit automated traffic to the Service without written permission.

4. Intellectual property

Datfit owns the Service and its content. You retain ownership of the training data you create. You grant Datfit a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process that data solely to provide the Service to you.

5. Changes to the Service

Datfit is under active development. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Where a change materially affects your use of the Service we will provide reasonable notice.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Datfit Pro may be offered as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices, subscription periods, and any free-trial terms shown in the purchase flow are part of your order. Datfit Pro subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period unless auto-renew is turned off before then. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings or Google Play account settings after purchase.

If Datfit offers a free trial or promotional period, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription where that is required by the store platform.

For iOS, the Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies in addition to these Terms: Apple Standard EULA.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may terminate your use of the Service at any time.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Datfit disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Datfit is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service, including injury sustained during exercise. You assume full responsibility for your physical activity.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply where the Datfit service provider is established, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
